Dear Friends,
Bows of gratitude to you for a year of blessings...
As I look back over the meandering path of 2010, and consider the year at Soul of the Prairie, my heart fills with gratitude for the many who have touched this space and graced it with presence and Spirit. You have blessed all that Soul of the Prairie is in so many ways - and I humbly bow in gratitude for you and all you've brought to this place.
My hope is that this space has been as good for you as hosting you has been for us! So many new friendships, so many new connections of heart and soul, so much openness and be-ing with the Holy...
So much goodness this year - absolutely awesome moonlit labyrinth walks, Dances of Universal Peace, prayer shawl knitting, drumming in the prairie labyrinth, times of re-membering and times of creating, tears and laughter and blessed stillness....
Looking towards The Roost late at night and seeing candles in the windows, knowing full well that one on retreat is spaciously present to her quiet center brings tears to my eyes and a quiet smile to my lips. It is so good...
A circle of women present to the Holy and each other, dancing in harmony to the music of deepening connection and inner growth. The Soul Sisters program became so much "more" than I ever imagined...
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Those little words are inadequate to express the gratitude I feel, so perhaps imagine them as the stars on a crisp, dark night dancing a prayer of thanks-giving to you with their sparkles and twinkles.
And an invitation...
There are openings yet in the gathering circle of 2011 Soul Sisters. If you are looking for a supportive circle of women with whom to share your spiritual journey, and experiences (and glorious space) to deepen your walk with the Holy, you may find a comfortable home here. More information is available at our website or by contacting me by email or telephone ( 641-864-3256 ).
We're extending the deadline to register for the 2011 group until December 24th. I invite you to consider this year of soul-filled living as a gift to yourself and those you love.
And yet ANOTHER (kind of crazy) invitation!
Monday night is the winter solstice AND a full lunar eclipse. An awesome time for a nightime labyrinth walk, for sure! Although I am not planning any formal program, you are welcome to come anytime Monday night to walk the lit Dancing Spiral labyrinth or the prairie labyrinth in honor of the darkest night of the year, and the hope that comes with the returning light. We'll leave the Dancing Spiral labyrinth lights on, and the Roost open all night, for those who might want to brave the cold and late hour to walk the labyrinth during the lunar eclipse. I hope to experience the eclipse from the center of the prairie labyrinth. Come and join me - although it is going to be really late! You may wish to bring a flashlight, and of course, wear warm clothing!
May your journey into the growing light and love of this season be filled with grace and goodness. Peace... Blessed Peace.
