Spiritual direction/companionship is a professional ministry of compassionate presence – an intentional companioning of another on their journey with the Holy. It is a quiet practice, where the presence and movements of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life are discerned, with the assistance of an experienced guide in the presence of God.
 
Mary Dreier is an experienced spiritual director/companion.  A spiritual direction session, typically one hour monthly, may include prayer, quiet time and a sharing of one’s life stories. Together, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, the relationship between these life stories and THE story are discerned, and the movements of the Holy Spirit realized.
